Why I liked it

Without Warning kept me intrigued from the opening page. Just when I thought I had the plot figured out, I realized I was wrong. Or was I only partially wrong?

Jack Robbins, a small town police chief, finds himself at the center of his own investigation into crimes predicted in an unearthed time capsule. He also finds himself increasingly drawn to the woman whose former husband killed Jack’s wife. Jack must determine the connection between his past and the present, while holding off the FBI and stopping a plot more devious than he could have imagined.

Rosenfelt has created an engaging character in Chief Robbins, with an interesting past and an evolving future. Jack is a protagonist worth getting to know.
